Here I am sitting at work when my phone rings, I look at the caller display and see it is an overseas number (I am in the UK), I answer and I'm told its Jim Cooper, my account manager at 123bingo! He told me I hadn't played since 2005 and wanted to know why as they "miss me"! I told him straight that I'm not interested in dealing with their company and he kept asking me why so I told him that I know they do not pay out to their winners. He went silent and then started to tell me that was old news and that I didn't know what I was talking about. I then said, look mate, three words for you, Bingo Players Union, I know exactly what I'm talking about! I will never play on your site again, please remove my details from your database and never call me again! He went silent again so I hung up!

:)

=D> way to go minty. They can say all they want about changes they are making but they are still invading players privacy by their unwanted phone calls.

The boycott and blacklist must be hurting them when they are calling players that haven't played since 2005. A big thank-you minty for supporting this boycott and for
your response to them and also for letting members and guests know that the phone calls are still happening. Boycotts work because of members like you that tell these rogue sites where the bear did his business.

Leopards can not change their spots anymore than these rogue and corrupt sites like 123OnLineBingo, Bingo-Knights and BingoFlash can. They can proclaim all they want but it is action not words that will make a difference, and until there is a significant change in the practises of these sites the Boycott and Blacklist will continue.

Nice reply Minty!! KUDOS!! Keep this boycott working! Players who are still playing at 123onlinebingo, bingo-knights and flashbingo.... if you find the numbers of players in the games have not changed... BEWARE!!! History has proven that the support people of Icronex have played against you in the games before... do you really think they won't do it again?

Icronex technologies is supposed to be the support team handling these three sites. I believe the owner of Icronex also OWNS these sites. I also believe they have transferred their servers to India, where online gaming is NOT legal nor condoned, but finding someone to do something about it is highly unlikely.
The employees of Icronex are all computer literate and have access to the area of the site where they can create as many accounts as they wish, fill them with bbs and prepurchase max cards from here until doomsday. Do they??? YOU tell me!

Thanks to all for replies. I closed my account at 123 long before I came to BPU as I had always felt something was not quite right and I wasn't comfortable spending my hard earned money there.

I'm still a little shocked that they called me, they really must be hurting from the boycott and I hope my response was passed along the line and they really understand the power of the people and BPU!

Lol minty ya made a lot of us happy with your reply you gave them and I am sure that your message was passed on loud and clear beside the fact they read us everyday despite their denials.

Boycotts work when there are players such as yourself that say get lost I am not spending my hard earned money at a Boycotted, rogue or Blacklisted site. When enough players see that things are not right at such sites as 123Onlinebing, Bingo-Knights and BingoFlash those sites either need to change and be fair and honest in their dealings or close their doors.

Does anyone have anything new to report on 123bingoonline or bingo-knights??? Last I heard there were supposed to be many changes. Can anyone inform us whether that has happened yet or not.

I do not see anything new and different in the rules.....

I have not gone into 123bingoonline or the others, but i got an email this morning from them, and apparently, now there is a land bingo place here in the US sponsoring them now. its called Bingoworld. I went to the site, bingoworld.com, and its all about this place. but the email address that sent the special for 123bingoonline was this site also. Dont know thatI would want to play at a place on land that would promote a rip off site like 123. Just my opinion. :-k

I also received the same email from them! Why is a Land Based Bingo Hall lending their name to such a bad site? I just had to ask! So I emailed them.

Hi,

I'm a bit curious as to why a US Land Based Bingo would lend their name to
such a crooked online bingo site as 123onlinebingo.

That site along with Bingoknights has been Blacklisted in about all the
online Bingo Forums and some Casino forums. These operators are crooks
pure an simple and have cheated many players out og their winnings and
have been known not to pay affiliates.

By advertising for them you are sending people on your mailing list to a
site that will cheat them and uses house Players to increase the houses
advantage. I’m sure it won’t be long before the players that visit your
land based hall find out you are working with corrupt people.

If you want proof of what I say follow this link:

Hey folks, just a brief resurrection of this post I made over 2 years ago. Guess who just called me (again!), yes that's right, 123Bingo! As soon as he said he was calling from there, I hung up, I couldn't be bothered to even have any dialogue with them. They clearly have not removed my details and are STILL calling players who stopped playing with them what is now over 6 years ago!

They must be really really struggling now. :))

Thanks for putting the "choke hold" on them Minty! Their closure would be a God send to players!

We just received another complaint about their non pay.

They were calling me and leaving messages at various times in the last Month (10/2011) and they banned me from logging in there because I was calling them out on their "Deceitful activity" .... So they must be hurting....
